Tantalizing Tuesday Teaser #14: Continued Rescue

Happy Christmas Eve! It's also Tantalizing Tuesday! Today, I have a continuation of the past two weeks. Yep, another 200 words for a photo! Don't forget to click the links below to check out everyone else's teasers! Enjoy! :)

Justin was torn between getting Claudette the medical treatment he knew she needed and staying by her side so she felt safe.

“You need to be checked for damage, Babe.”

“No I don’t. I need you beside me. What if something happens while you’re gone, getting help?”

“Okay. You win, but if you stop breathing again, you’re going to the hospital.”

“Deal.”

“Think you can stand up?”

“Yeah. I think so.”

Justin grabbed Claudette’s hand and put an arm behind her as he helped hoist her up to a standing position.

“Thanks. Now, how did you find me?”

“Instinct.”

Claudette rolled her eyes. “Fine. Don’t tell me. I’ll find out sooner or later anyway.”

Justin didn’t say a word. He just stared at her.

“What, Handsome?”

“Do you have a place where you can stay? Friends? Relatives?”

“Don’t worry, Gorgeous. I’ll figure something out.”

Justin shook his head. “Uh Uh. Not good enough. You’re staying with me.”

“Well, in that case, you better be kissin me soon or I may stop breathing again.”

“Not funny.”

“Fine. Suit yourself.”

“Come here, you!”

Justin grabbed Claudette around the waist and pulled her close, looking deeply in her eyes before their lips met.

Now you should be begging for more! Click the links below to read the other, fantastic teasers by my friends! :)

  5. Sorry I am late commenting. That was wonderfully tense yet romantic, Leann. I cannot wait to see what happens to them when he gets her 'settled' at his home. Wonderfully crafted and charged with great sensuality. Loved it <3 xo
